Jayden
Jayden is eleven years old and a fifth grader at Barcelona Hills. He is in the SDC with Colby. (SDC stands for special day class.) Jayden has learning differences but is making progress in all areas across the board. Jayden has improved in leaps and bounds as he is maturing. The rage and temper tantrums have lessoned from three times a day to maybe twice a month. He is controlling his anger and frustration almost as well as any typical child.
He loves flying under the radar. Any attention, regardless of whether it is positive or negative, is difficult for Jayden to process. He suffered a brain bleed due to a birth injury. You can read more about that here.
Jayden loves babies. Nothing makes him happier than being surrounded by little ones. He is the best helper and from Pickle on down, I can count on Jayden to hold, feed, watch and love them. He is very excited about the new addition.
Jayden loves the computer. PERIOD. That is about the only thing I can think of that he enjoys.
I am so proud of this kid. He is doing so well against all odds. I am amazed at his progress.
