Hunter

Hunter is fifteen and the third "homegrown" child in the family.  Hunter is my favorite conundrum.  He was diagnosed at three with severe anxiety, ADHD and OCD.  We have added a few diagnoses since that time.  Currently, we are suspicious that he has Asperger's. There are days I am convinced he has it and others that I doubt the Drs.  But, with all the kids, we don't treat the diagnosis, we treat the child.  Hunter is currently on a fantastic cocktail of meds that make living with him a walk in the park.  As long as we can keep his anxiety under control, life is good.

Hunter is the best fifteen year old I have ever encountered.  He is sweet, sensitive, loving, and kind.  He loves the kids, the animals and Brandon and I.

He spends the majority of his time on the computer.  He loves the INTERNET!  I can't say I blame him.  He is a genius child.  He knows more about everything than anyone I know.  He is educated and street smart!

We are debating on boarding school.  There are aspects of it that would be fantastic for Hunter and other things that could possibly freak him out.  As of this moment, we are hanging on to him for freshman year. We will revisit the decision in the fall.

Hunter man loves cajun food and sushi.  He wants to be a marine biologist or a professor when he grows up.  I love being Hunter's mom.
