Hadley
Hadley is the "bio baby" in the family. She is thirteen, but going on twenty-one. She is mature and smart and fabulous. She loves school and is very good at getting her homework done first and playing later.
Hadley is the household comedian. She keeps us in stitches constantly. She is a blonde.
We call her Hadder Boo, or Boo for short. She likes it as long as we don't call her that in front of anyone.
She doesn't mind this blog, or when I blog about her, in fact, she would prefer I blog about her instead of blogging rated R stuff.
Hadley can't wait for boarding school. She is counting down the days until she can apply and start packing. EXCEPT, she doesn't want to move out, she wants to leave her room right here, untouched, and unoccupied. That's the only down side to boarding school in her mind. Cause when you move out of this house, you move out. Kids get juggled and somebody will move into your room before your flight has even landed, and possessions get boxed up and shipped off to you. She isn't fond of that. I figure she has two more years to wrap her mind around it.
Hadley is a social butterfly. I rarely see the child on the weekends. She goes from friends house to friends house. She is always planning something. She loves California and plans to make her home here. She is the one child I was most worried about when we moved here, and I am not sure why I ever did. She is a California girl at heart.
We often discuss the issues that I have passed on to my bio children. Hadley got by with the least amount of them. We call her the most normal bio in the family. (and by we I mean, Brandon and I and the collective group of bios.) It's unanimous, we all agree, she is the most normal! I hope she appreciates that.
Hadley's favorite things in the world are her laptop, shopping, and spending money. She is also discovering the joys of makeup, which I agreed she could start wearing in 7th grade. and now, damnit, 7th grade is here.
